The Shady Side Zoomies picked up a win at Terriers Ballpark, dropping the Ogallala Octopi, 6-2. Ogai Sugimoto, who is tied for 10th in the SA- with a 2.83 ERA, was the difference-maker. The winning pitcher was Sugimoto, now 1-8. He tossed 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 8. The 4th-place Zoomies have won 4 straight games.

The Zoomies got a big at-bat from third baseman Todd Pacheco. For the game, Pacheco was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Shady Side a 2-0 lead.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Ogallala manager Dewitt Hopper. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
