The home crowd had a good time watching the Quebec City Baby Blues and Capital Hill Interns get after it.

The Capital Hill Interns trumped the Quebec City Baby Blues, 6-1, at Alouettes Ballpark. Capital Hill designated hitter Ray Wells was terrific. He went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Interns raised their record to 15-22.

Miguel De La Garza came through for Capital Hill when he hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a two-strike fastball to left field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.

"It never gets old," said De La Garza. "Winning, that is."
