The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at The Igloo.

The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople grabbed a win, 10-9, over the Flint Crush at The Igloo. Ellesmere Island right fielder Andrés Vega was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win went to Hai-feng Zhu in relief, making him now 1-2. Ken Leach took the loss for Flint.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Ellesmere Island trailing 9-8, Vega jumped on a slider from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Ken Leach and hit a 2-run home run to center. With one swing, the Snowpeople had a walk-off win.
