Due in large part to left fielder Ron Donovan, the Capital Hill Interns sunk the Ballard Beavers, 4-2. Donovan went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Tadanobu Kojima, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. With the win, Capital Hill pushed its record to 26-20.
Alberto Chávez hit a run-scoring double off Steven Harden in the bottom of the third, which put the Interns in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Chávez had 2 singles and 1 walk, while going 3 for 3.
