The Greenport Harbor Whales got a stellar performance from pitcher Simon Meilaart, who handcuffed the Napanee offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Ballpark of Robbins. Greenport reliever Simon Meilaart got the win, raising his record to 2-4. Jody Hammond was tagged with the loss. Kendrick Anderson recorded the save for Greenport, his 2nd of the season.

Luis Ramos had a big 2-run double for the Harbor Whales in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Greenport leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from Jody Hammond, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2061 draft, and swatted a double to right. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Harbor Whales ahead, 4-1.

"We did enough to win," said Ramos.

Greenport now owns a record of 22-24.
