Ellesmere Island pitcher Alexander Heighway did his part in helping his team defeat the Quebec City Baby Blues, 3-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Alberto Gómes finished the game for Ellesmere Island and earned his 6th save. Ellesmere Island, with the win, climbs to 12-34.
Ellesmere Island went in front, 3-2, on Miguel González's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which González hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Quebec City pitcher Chris Guzmán visibly perturbed.
