Beavers Pull Off Thrilling 8-6 Win in Extras
The Ballard Beavers clipped the Capital Hill Interns, 8-6, in 11 innings at Alouettes Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Ballard pitcher and Huber Heights, Ohio, native Jesse Seals. Ballard bumps their record to 30-17 with the win.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 21-year old shortstop Chris Stephenson. Stephenson had a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Beavers ahead, 5-4. For the game, Stephenson had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
