The Quebec City Baby Blues stopped the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 8-1, at The Igloo. The Baby Blues got a big game from Ken Moore, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Chuck De La Cruz, the winner, improved to 2-2. He held the Snowpeople to no runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Emílio Romero had a big 2-run home run for the Baby Blues in the top of the fourth inning.
