Komatsu 3-for-4, Leads Canucks to Win
The Moose Jaw Canucks and Quebec City Baby Blues lit up the scoreboard.

Moose Jaw second baseman Kichibei Komatsu helped his team beat the Quebec City Baby Blues, 11-9. Komatsu went 3 for 4 for the Canucks. The winning pitcher was Thierry Mary. His record now stands at 2-1. The right-hander went 5.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits for the Canucks. Picking up his 2nd save was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Uku Willa.

The Canucks got a big boost from left fielder Armando Sandoval who had a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first inning off Baby Blues hurler José Tobías. It was his 13th RBI of the season and put Moose Jaw on top, 1-0.

"Wild game," said Sandoval after it ended.

Moose Jaw, with the win, climbs to 14-39.
