The Snowpeople grabbed a win, 3-2, at The Igloo, overcoming a fine effort from Ladue pitcher António Mendoza. Mendoza went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Pablo Martínez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Joe Weber was tagged with the loss. Ellesmere Island bumps their record to 25-30 with the win.

The Snowpeople got a clutch hit from catcher Peter Walker. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Snowpeople.

"It was a test of wills," said Gary MacHardy, the Ellesmere Island skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
