Flint Loses, 3-1, to Capital Hill in 10

The Capital Hill Interns downed the Flint Crush, 3-1, at Flint Park. Stellar pitching by Brian Gibson had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A- in complete games with 1, handcuffed his opponent all game. Earning his 6th save for Capital Hill was Pedro Puglisi. Capital Hill is in 10th place in the Menard's Low A with a record of 24-34.
Pedro Pérez came through with a big-time hit for Capital Hill. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 3-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Pérez.
