The Long Island Ducks defeated the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 7-2, at Ducks Park. Long Island catcher Kelvin Sullivan had a superb performance. He was 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The defeat makes Ellesmere Island 26-33.

With Long Island leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Sullivan hit a fastball from Peter Pace for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Ducks ahead, 5-0.

"I still think this team can play even better," Sullivan told the Long Island Today.
