Interns Lose as Gators Stage Late Rally
North Ft. Myers Gators starter Tom Horton hurled his team past the Capital Hill Interns, 6-2. North Ft. Myers is now 29-34. Capital Hill is 26-37.

North Ft. Myers used the timely hitting of Guillermo Torres to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Gators on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

North Ft. Myers manager Felipe Palazzola commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
