The Napanee Express defeated the Ladue Rams, 4-3, in M3L Low A action at Ballpark of Wellsville. Napanee pitcher Beau Davis had a standout performance. Davis, now 7-5, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs.
António Espinosa, who is tied for 10th in the 3A- with a .486 slugging percentage, had a direct impact on the outcome. Espinosa contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Napanee up, 3-1.
