Pedro Esparza helped his team muscle past the Maine Sea Dogs, 6-3. In the game, the Flint right fielder was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. The Crush have an impressive 47-23 record.

Flint used a well-timed hit by William González to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Crush ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

Flint manager Michael Woodard praised his team's "businesslike approach."
