Baby Blues Knock Off Gators at Dodge Field
The Baby Blues grabbed a win, 3-2, at Dodge Field, overcoming a fine effort from North Ft. Myers pitcher Carlitos Laboro. Laboro went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Harald Berendsen was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 7 save opportunities. The Baby Blues raised their record to 35-39.

Quebec City used the timely hitting of Curt Johnstone to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Baby Blues on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Quebec City manager Mauro Rangel.
