José Morán, who is tied for 5th in the 3A- in complete games with 1, was the winner. He's now 6-0. The loser was Rob Harvey. The Crush lead the Menard's Low A by 2½ games.

Grégory Garcia had a direct impact on the outcome. Garcia contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Flint up, 2-0.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Garcia told the Flint Chronicle.
