Navarro Dominant in Canucks Victory
|
At Paints Ballpark, the Napanee Express and Moose Jaw Canucks were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Moose Jaw pitcher Héctor Navarro had a large part in his team subduing the Napanee Express, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Yun Sha picked up the save, his 4th.
Navarro gave Moose Jaw a solid start. The right-hander, who is listed at 5' 9", 160 lbs, allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.
"I thought we played a nice game," Navarro told the Moose Jaw Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
With the win, the Canucks are 26-49.
