Crush 2-0 Winners Versus Capital Hill
|
In a tight contest between the Flint Crush and the Capital Hill Interns, Jorge Sandoval was the determining factor. The Flint right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-0 win. By defeating Capital Hill, the third-place Crush improved to 51-33.
Making an impact for Flint was shortstop Jai-guo Tang. He drilled a double off Steve McDermott in the top of the second. For the game, Tang went 1-3 with a double.
"I'm happy we won," said Sandoval. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
