Slumping Baby Blues Lose Again
|
The Napanee Express went home winners at Paints Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Eugene Brown. Brown stifled the Quebec City Baby Blues, enabling Napanee to grab the 4-1 win. In 5 innings, Brown surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. The slumping Baby Blues have lost 7 straight.
Making an impact for Napanee was left fielder Millard Kerr. He drilled a run-scoring double off Mike McGuire in the bottom of the second. For the game, Kerr was 1 for 1 with a double.
"When you're losing, the game looks more difficult to play than it is," said Quebec City manager Koryusai Ohayashi.
