The MSL Baltimore Bullets got their 2063 M3L Mexican Summer League season off to a good start, defeating the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathan, 7-4. Matthew Kimotho set the pace. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Billy Brown earned the win for MSL Baltimore. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Doug Drewery was at the plate when MSL Baltimore scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Bullets to go in front, 4-3.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Drewery.
