The MSL Kingston Ponies reigned over the MSL Charleston Battery in damp conditions.

Thanks in large part to first baseman Júlio Figueroa, the MSL Kingston Ponies beat the MSL Charleston Battery, 10-4. Figueroa was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The loss makes MSL Charleston 1-1.

A key moment came with two out in the top of the third. That's when Figueroa hit a cutter from Sosuke Saito for a run-scoring single, putting MSL Kingston up, 4-3.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Figueroa. "You've got to get results."
