Grey Wolves Post 9-0 Win Over MSL Echo Park
The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves called upon starter Yachi Hirano, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the MSL Echo Park Lakers, 9-0. Hirano, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing no runs. The victory makes MSL Vancouver 1-2.

MSL Vancouver used a clutch at-bat from Anaba Idowu to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Grey Wolves ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Yachi mixed and matched," said MSL Vancouver manager Roy Bagnall.
