Hurricanes Come Back Late to Top Ponies, 9-5
MSL Kingston got a big-time effort from pitcher Marty MacDonald, but it wasn't enough to keep the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes from winning the game, 9-5. MacDonald threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. At 7-4, the Hurricanes claim third place in the 3L MSL.

MSL Cape Coral used the timely hitting of Dae-hyung Pae to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hurricanes on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We maximized our offense today," said MSL Cape Coral skipper Joe Morris. "That makes everyone's life easier."
