Bowties third baseman Albert Laitinen left his mark on his team's 6-4 win over the MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. Laitinen, who is tied for 7th in the 3MSL in RBI with 13, went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for MSL Buckhead in the contest. Alexander Heighway, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. The Bowties, now 10-3, have won 4 in a row.

MSL Buckhead took a 6-2 lead on Laitinen's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off José Cortéz in the top of the seventh, propelled MSL Buckhead to the win.
