MSL Kingston shortstop Orthodoxos Orthodoxou had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-4, to MSL Thunder Bay at MSL Thunder Bay Ballpark. Orthodoxou was 2-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. MSL Thunder Bay pitcher Steve Berry earned the win, hiking his record to 2-2. Corey Leather suffered the loss. The save went to Miguel Cantú, his 4th this season.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Miguel Cantú didn't flinch. With a runner on 1st and MSL Kingston trailing 5-4, Cantú retired Vincente Molina to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Cantú, with a wink.
