Despite a great performance by MSL Detroit shortstop Arturo Rodríguez, the MSL Buckhead Bowties defeated the Rock City by the score of 8-2 at MSL Detroit Ballpark. Rodríguez went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. MSL Buckhead has now won 5 straight, while the Rock City have lost 3 in a row.

MSL Buckhead second baseman Kieran Winwood contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Bowties ahead, 4-0.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Winwood.
