Juan García was outstanding against MSL Kingston. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the 3MSL with a 1.19 WHIP, had a curveball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Northern Lions BC 6-0 win. With the win, the Northern Lions BC improved to 10-10.

García earned the win to move to 3-0. In his 8.1-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 9 and walking 3. The right-hander allowed the Ponies few scoring opportunities.

"Juan's focus was outstanding. The way he handled every moment -- when there was a little trouble, he didn't lose his tempo or his rhythm," said MSL Thunder Bay manager Sergio Muñóz.
