Werkman Slugs Hurricanes to 11-7 Win
|
A 5-RBI performance from center fielder Luke Werkman, who is tied for 5th in the 3MSL in RBI with 23, led the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes to a win over the MSL Panama City Piranhas, 11-7. The Hurricanes have now reeled off 9 straight wins.
Dae-hyung Pae, who is tied for 6th in the 3MSL in RBI with 22, took MSL Panama City hurler Darge Masamba deep in the bottom of the eighth. His grand slam home run put the Hurricanes on top, 11-7. In all, Pae had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
