Flamingos Take Down Lighthouse, 4-1
Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Bernie Ray, who is tied for 3rd in the SMSL in runs scored with 11, the MSL Las Vegas Flamingos defeated the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 4-1. The Flamingos improved to 7-5.

Ray contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for MSL Las Vegas in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Ray took a fastball from Elton Willetts and stroked the home run to right. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Flamingos to leap in front, 2-1.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Ray said.
