The MSL Oakland Oaks did just enough to secure a victory over the MSL Charleston Battery, 5-4, in 10 innings at MSL Oakland Ballpark. Nobody did more than shortstop Jesús García. MSL Oakland reliever Máximo Orozco picked up the win to move to 2-0. John Branum suffered the loss. The Oaks are now 17-6, while the Battery fall to 7-16.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the tenth. With MSL Oakland trailing 4-3, García jumped on a fastball from 18-year old right-handed pitcher John Branum and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Oaks had a walk-off win.
