The MSL Detroit Rock City got a magnificent performance from pitcher Juan Guerrero, who muffled the MSL Mexico City offense en route to a tight, 1-0 Rock City win at MSL Detroit Ballpark. MSL Detroit reliever Juan Guerrero got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Dennis Wilkerson was tagged with the loss. The third-place Rock City have won 5 straight.

Had Cristóbal Herrera not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Herrera hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Rock City.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said MSL Mexico City manager Sting Ray Robb.
