MSL Kingston got a terrific game from second baseman Denis Lindsey. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to MSL D.C., 7-6. Lindsey went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The 6th-place Divided now have a win-loss record of 14-12.

The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With MSL D.C. trailing 6-5, Sadaharu Ohayashi delivered the decisive blow, stroking a fastball from Nuruddin Tanui for a 2-run home run. Ballgame.

"We saved our best for last," said Ohayashi.
