Ponies Get Plucky, 5-4 Win Over Divided
The MSL Kingston Ponies stopped the MSL D.C. Divided, 5-4, behind an impressive performance from Millard Kerr. The 18-year old center fielder made life miserable for MSL D.C. pitching. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2. MSL Kingston reliever Sergio Barrosa picked up the win. Eduardo Gutiérrez took the loss for MSL D.C.. Earning his 5th save for MSL Kingston was Nuruddin Tanui.

Danny Hoadley, who is tied for 9th in the 3MSL in RBI with 23, helped out the MSL Kingston cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," MSL D.C. manager Wessel Rosas said, following the tough loss.

The win makes MSL Kingston 9-18, nothing to write home about.
