Bowties Overcome Great Performance by Kwak in Win
MSL Cape Coral got a terrific game from right fielder Pyeong-kyu Kwak. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to MSL Buckhead, 9-4. Kwak hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The win belonged to Pedro Rodríguez in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Evandro Ventura took the loss for MSL Cape Coral. At 23-7, MSL Buckhead is in first place in the 3L MSL.

MSL Buckhead used a well-timed hit by Kieran Winwood to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bowties ahead, 5-3. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"This was a nice win for us," said Winwood. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
