Castro 3-for-5, Leads Ponies to Win
A 4-RBI performance from Mario Castro helped the MSL Kingston Ponies beat the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds, 13-7. Picking up the win was Gabe Bailey. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 1. With the win, the Ponies have a record of 15-16.

Bartolo Moreno had a big 2-run double for the Ponies in the bottom of the fourth inning. With MSL Kingston leading 3-2 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 17-year old left-handed pitcher Ricardo Arroyo and swatted a double to left. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Ponies ahead, 5-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Castro told the MSL Kingston Herald. "It's as simple as that."
