Hurricanes Deal Bullets 3-2 Defeat
|
In a tight tilt between the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes and the MSL Baltimore Bullets, Ray Collins was the deciding factor. The MSL Cape Coral right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. With the win over MSL Baltimore, the Hurricanes improved to 16-15.
Noburo Sugiyama had a big 2-run home run for the Hurricanes in the top of the first inning. With MSL Cape Coral leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a fastball from Errol Beck, who leads the 3MSL in strikeouts with 60, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hurricanes ahead, 3-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Sugiyama said.
