MSL Nova Scotia second baseman Vicente Cruz had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the MSL D.C. Divided, 5-4. Joey Oulton picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Balu Maitryi, who is tied for 2nd in the 3MSL in complete games with 1, was tagged with the loss. Jesse Walsh earned the save for MSL Nova Scotia, his 7th.

Cruz had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-1 changeup from Balu Maitryi, he banged a solo home run to center, giving the Leviathan a 5-4 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Cruz.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Cruz.

MSL Nova Scotia is now 16-19.
