Northern Lions BC Tag Hurricanes with 6-2 Loss

The MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC polished off the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes by the score of 6-2. The largest share of the credit belonged to designated hitter Glenn Thomas. Thomas went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Northern Lions BC. José Cortéz, who is tied for 9th in the 3MSL in saves with 3, picked up the win in relief. Evandro Ventura took the loss for MSL Cape Coral. By defeating MSL Cape Coral, the third-place Northern Lions BC improved to 23-13.
Had Thomas not come through in the bottom of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Thomas hit a 3-run home run. The Northern Lions BC took the lead, 4-2, and never looked back.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Thomas told the MSL Thunder Bay Herald.
