Tight Tilt Goes to Bowties, 2-1
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the MSL Buckhead Bowties and MSL D.C. Divided.

In a low-scoring tilt between the MSL Buckhead Bowties and the MSL D.C. Divided, Martin Sawyer, who is tied for 3rd in the 3MSL in innings pitched with 75.0, was the difference-maker. The MSL Buckhead right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. R.J. Farrell got credit for the save for MSL Buckhead. It was his 6th of the year.

Norberto Guerra had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for MSL Buckhead. He came through with a run-scoring single to put MSL Buckhead in front, 2-0.

Guerra said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

MSL Buckhead has an impressive 28-10 record.
