The MSL St. Louis Coeur met little resistance from the MSL Detroit Rock City, beating them, 16-3, at MSL St. Louis Ballpark. Víctor Calderón led the way. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for MSL St. Louis. Alfredo Flores, the winner, improved to 5-3. He held MSL Detroit to 1 run on 6 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. António Rodríguez earned the save, his 1st, for the Coeur.

Érico Ribeira took MSL Detroit hurler Jacob Underhill deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run put the Coeur on top, 2-0. In all, Ribeira had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
