The MSL Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC defeated the MSL Charleston Battery, 5-4, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to designated hitter Glenn Thomas, who was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk for the Northern Lions BC. Juan García snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Barney Bloeckner suffered the loss. At 26-13, the Northern Lions BC claim third place in the 3L MSL.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for MSL Thunder Bay. That's when Dennis Agymah, who is tied for 8th in the 3MSL in doubles with 12, hit a run-scoring double off Barney Bloeckner to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said MSL Charleston manager António Díaz.
