The MSL Buffalo White Walkers knocked off the MSL St. Louis Coeur, 6-3, at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. Alberto Ruíz was a big reason MSL Buffalo won. The left fielder went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 4 runs. MSL Buffalo starter Robby Wilkerson was credited with the win after throwing 96 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 4-0. Diego Trevino collected save number 5.
In the bottom of the fourth, MSL Buffalo catcher Rex Matheson had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Matheson stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 5-3, MSL Buffalo. For the game, he went 2-5 with 2 singles.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said MSL Buffalo manager David Austin.
