A 4-RBI performance from Leonardo García, who is tied for 3rd in the SMSL in triples with 2, helped the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves beat the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-3. Kinnosuke Shimizu, now 3-0, was credited with the win in 2.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The Grey Wolves have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Manny González came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing MSL Ft. Worth pitcher Jonathan Matthews, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting MSL Vancouver on top, 4-3.

"Right now, things are falling our way," said MSL Vancouver manager Roy Bagnall.
