Sánchez Now 3-2 After Subduing Coeur
|
The MSL Long Island Lighthouse topped the MSL St. Louis Coeur, 6-0, in USSL Mexican Summer League action at MSL St. Louis Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to MSL Long Island pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Héctor Sánchez. The Lighthouse improved their record to 12-10 with the win over MSL St. Louis.
Sánchez allowed no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Lighthouse. With the win, he is 3-2 with an ERA of 2.43.
Sánchez told a MSL Long Island Herald reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
