The MSL St. Louis Coeur knocked off the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 7-3, at MSL St. Louis Ballpark. Matt Boswell was a big reason MSL St. Louis won. The left fielder went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The defeat makes MSL Long Island 12-11.

The Coeur got a lift from catcher Carlos Jarquín, who in the bottom of the fifth stroked a 1-2 curveball to right for a run-scoring single. It was his 26th hit of the season and put the Coeur ahead, 3-1.

"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Jarquín.
