Grey Wolves Go Down to Defeat, 9-4
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen used the hitting of right fielder Don Lewis to subdue the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves, 9-4. For the game, Lewis was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Ramon Bartelen earned the save, his 1st. After today's action, MSL Ft. Worth sits at 14-10, while MSL Vancouver falls to 15-9.

Salvador Antúnez had a big run-scoring double for the Cattlemen in the bottom of the third inning. With MSL Ft. Worth leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a slider from Yachi Hirano, who is tied for 10th in the SMSL with a 3.06 ERA, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cattlemen ahead, 3-1.
