The MSL Memphis Mockingbirds beat the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves by a score of 4-2. MSL Memphis right fielder Wilson Rodríguez deserved the lion's share of the credit. Rodríguez went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Mockingbirds. The second-place Mockingbirds now have a win-loss record of 15-10.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Rodríguez hit a fastball from John Schmidt for a 2-run home run. The Mockingbirds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Rodríguez said in his postgame press conference.
