Pandas Rally For 8-6 Win
The MSL Montana Pandas withstood an impressive performance by MSL Long Island third baseman Sergio Salazar to defeat the Lighthouse, 8-6, at MSL Long Island Ballpark. Salazar went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The win was credited to Juan Fuentes in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jin Kim took the loss. The Pandas saw their record improve to 11-15.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 18-year old left fielder Gabriel Petit. Petit had a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pandas ahead, 8-6. For the game, Petit had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Petit told a MSL Montana Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
