MSL Panama City starter Peter Wells kept the MSL St. Louis hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 12-0. With the win, the Piranhas improved to 16-10.

In the bottom of the second, Wells had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off Qi-chao Wang that staked the Piranhas to a 2-0 lead.

"Peter's a trooper," said MSL Panama City manager Anthony Mitchell. "He always gives it all he's got."
